Worlds Collide

This is printed on a piece of Thai Unryu paper with some lovely long paper fibers. I gave the paper a light coating of some clear matte inkjet precoat in order to boost the density and blacks on this somewhat translucent paper. The original image was shot with a Holga 120N.

  2. It's very beautiful I had heard of applying an inkjet precoat but never seen it done.

  3. Thanks Carol, Jacki and David.
David, you can put an inkjet coating on pretty much anything. It's just a matter of getting it to go through your printer. This particular paper is
tissue paper thin so I taped it to a sheet of regular office type paper in order to get it through my printer. For thicker materials, like aluminum,
you need a printer that has a straight through feed.
