    David, I think you hit the nail on the head. It's the windowless feature of the house that struck me because the view from there is quite nice.
    There's actually a reservoir right there behind the house. Who doesn't want a water view these days? But Dogtown is a strange place. Perhaps some things are best left unseen.

  4. Those shadows are so beautiful! I find myself imagining that maybe the builder could have used this windowless facade to keep out the "shouts" of all those virtues carved on the rocks :-)
