The Fall of Troy ("Shellac-o-type" version")

An older image revisited as a "shellac-o-type".

You need a few basic items.

Aluminum.
Amber shellac.
InkAid.
The will to destroy your printer if everything goes awry.

  1. Having seen your photo at the RayKo Plastic Camera Show, I can begin to imagine how spectacular this is in person. Wow!

It appears that I'm not equipped to make these amazing prints :-)

    1. Thanks Jacki. Sending a sheet of aluminum through an inkjet printer is not for the faint-hearted.

    1. It's not really labor intensive as long as I can buy the shellac at a hardware store as opposed to harvesting lac beetle resin in India and making it myself. :)
