Some Show News
The 7th Annual International Plastic Camera Show continues at the RayKo Photo Center in San Francisco, CA. The show runs until April 29th, so if you're in the Bay area you still have plenty of time to check it out...and maybe even purchase a print, or two, or three. I saw the show last week and it includes a whole bunch of great work by many talented photographers. And I am honored to be this year's featured artist.
The Visual Narrative Show at the MPLS Photo Center opens tonight (3/14) and continues until April 27th. There's many excellent photographers in this show and I am honored that my image "The Snow at Night" is included. Even better, the juried show is running with a solo show by Susan Burnstine, who was the juror for The Visual Narrative juried show.
The show "More Trees" opened last night at the Art Wall at Pecan Street Brewing in Johnson City, TX. A revised version of my image "The Apple Tree in Winter" is in the show. The image is now an acrylic transfer to plywood rather than a direct ink transfer which I have shown previously. (That's the image above). You can see this show through April 27th. So go have a beer and see some art.
Finally, "The Apple Tree in Winter" will also be showing at the Vermont Center of Photography in the upcoming show, "The Art of Handmade and Alternative Photography". The show opens on April 4th and runs through April 27th. The Vermont Center of Photography is located at 49 Flat St in Brattleboro, VT.

RayKo 7th Annual Juried Plastic Camera Show
It's an honor (and somewhat of a surprise) to be the featured artist at this year's RayKo Plastic Camera show. If you're in the Bay area, come on down to the opening and say hello. All the info for the show is on the above postcard along with my image "The Last Stand". You can see that image and eighteen additional images of mine in this great annual show.
