Nelson Island

Windsor camera (620 film Diana clone)
Dandi Pan film, expired 1968
A friend of mine recently gifted me a variety of some beautiful paper that he had made. Having some free time the other day, I added a couple of coats of an inkjet receptive coating and gave it a try in the Epson 3880. The digital image really doesn't do justice to how wonderful it looks in reality.
BTW, that mottling in the sky is from the 1968 expired film, not the paper.
Here is the unprinted image on Flickr.

Somerville Toy Camera Festival
My image "Little People #7" will be included in this year's Somerville Toy Camera Festival. The festival will take place at three different galleries this year. My image will be at the Nave Gallery Annex where the show will open on Thursday, Sept. 10 and run through Sept. 27.
This image was shot in Newburyport, MA with an Agfa Isoly camera that was modified with a transplanted and reversed lens from a Holga camera.
This annual festival (now in its' third year) always includes lots of great imagery. Well worth checking out if you're in the greater Boston area.

Forward Thinking Museum online show
I am happy to be included in this online exhibit curated by Peter Fahrni on his Forward Thinking Museum website. Best part of this was discovering the work of a few photographers whose work was not known to me. You can check out the show here. Peter has some pretty interesting work on his website. Well worth checking out in your spare time.

Plastic Fantastic VI Show
I am happy to report that two of my images will be in the upcoming "Plastic Fantastic VI" show at the Lightbox Photo Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The exhibit was curated by Susan Burnstine and will open on June 13 (tomorrow as I type this) and run through July 7.
The two images are "Little People #7" and "Around the Bend". Both of these images were shot in 2014. "Little People #7" was created in Neburyport, MA and "Around the Bend" was shot in Lower Darnley, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
This is my sixth consecutive year participating in the Plastic Fantastic show and I couldn't be more pleased with the selections.
Here are some very kind words from juror Susan Burnstine.
