Jim, I thought of your reference to the dialogue in the movie "Funny Face" when I discovered that the first pictures to sell at the exhibit I'm currently in were pictures of trees--one by fellow artist Susan Moore and one by myself. Could it be that the demand for pictures of trees is growing? D.C.
David, I have yet to sell an image of a tree, but thanks for flooding the marketplace with tree photos, thereby devaluing any potential future sales I might have. Screw it. I'm just going to take pictures of rocks from now on. I see a bright future in the rock picture market.
I shoot a lot of the same subject with different cameras.This blog has pretty much become a place to post these alternative versions of images that I have already posted on Flickr. Not that they're any better or worse than the Flickr images...they're just different.
