Wow, Jim, that is so beautiful! The sense of depth is magical, both drawing me in and daring me to proceed. I like that upper right corner - it reminds me of Polaroid, and plays with the question of whether I'm seeing "reality" or a dream. And now that I've seen your ink transfers in person, I can imagine how amazing this print must be in ways that I can't see on the screen.
Thanks Jacki. It's always the imperfections of these things that makes me want to make more. BTW, the transfers at the show sold multiple times. Happy about that.
I shoot a lot of the same subject with different cameras.This blog has pretty much become a place to post these alternative versions of images that I have already posted on Flickr. Not that they're any better or worse than the Flickr images...they're just different.
