Yay, I love your Dogtown pictures! I'm sure that my brain's understanding of composition expands and deepens by looking at your photos. And I like seeing industry being overgrown by nature :-)
Dogtown is a big place by east coast wilderness standards, perhaps 3500 acres. And every time I end up going back there, thinking I'll see a different part of Dogtown, I bring along a friend who has never been there or seen the boulders. So I end up back at the boulders, which is actually ok with me. And I'm happy with a few of the new boulder shots. I think some of them needed a bit of breathing room.
I shoot a lot of the same subject with different cameras.This blog has pretty much become a place to post these alternative versions of images that I have already posted on Flickr. Not that they're any better or worse than the Flickr images...they're just different.
